Celebrating International Working Women’s Day and May Day
Friday 7th May 2021,
The Working Women’s Resource Centre is screening the amazing movie “Women of Steel” which is an inspiring new documentary that tells the story of the fourteen-year-long campaign by union women in Wollongong for the right to work at the city’s steelworks.
Women of Steel tell their own stories for the first time on film.

Date: Monday, Friday 7th May
Venue: Trades Hall 147 Great North Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland
Free entry, all welcome.
Refreshments available from 5.30pm in the supper room
Movie will start at 6.30pm in the auditorium
